Privacy Policy
VividSea is built privacy-first. The short version: your photos and videos never leave your device, there are no accounts, and the only things the app sends are anonymous usage events and the purchase data the stores need. The long version is below. This policy covers the VividSea app on iPhone and Android and this website.
1. What we don't do
- We do not upload, store, or have any access to your photos or videos. Editing runs on your device.
- We do not require you to create an account.
- We do not sell, rent, or trade any user data.
- We do not show ads in the app.
2. What stays on your device
Your edits, Logbook and recent history are stored locally on your phone. They may be included in your iCloud or Google device backup if you have backups enabled. That's between you and Apple or Google; we never see it.
3. Anonymous usage analytics
The app uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand which features are used, so we can improve them. It records app events such as opening the editor, choosing a look, viewing the Pro screen, saving or sharing a photo or video, and completing a purchase. Firebase also collects standard technical data: an app instance identifier, device model, operating system and app version, and an approximate country or region derived from your IP address. On Android, Firebase may also read the device's advertising ID.
These events are not linked to your name, email or photos, and never contain image content. Our Google Analytics property is linked to Google Ads only to measure installs and purchases from our own campaigns; ad personalization is turned off. See Firebase privacy and security and Google's privacy policy. On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings.
4. Purchases
Purchases are processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never receive your name, address or payment details. We use RevenueCat to turn store receipts into a Pro unlock. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user identifier and your purchase receipt, never any photo content. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
5. This website
vividsea.info is a static site hosted on Vercel. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics. Our host processes standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver and protect the site. Fonts are served from our own domain.
The free underwater photo fixer runs entirely in your browser. Photos you open in it are processed on your device and are never uploaded to us or anyone else.
6. Email and support
If you write us at info@vividsea.info, we keep the message thread for as long as needed to help you, then archive it. We don't add you to any mailing list.
7. Children
VividSea is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
8. Your rights (GDPR, CCPA)
Because there are no accounts and analytics data is not tied to your identity, we usually can't look up data about a specific person. You can ask us to delete a support thread, and you can ask for help with an analytics or purchase data request; write to info@vividsea.info and we'll respond within 30 days.

If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date above.
